Not much to rag on...so straight to the point tonight

After spending most of the afternoon Xmas shopping Commish has'nt got the energy to rant on sports tonight. Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy shopping....Hell I had a better time getting a root-canal. Let's get straight to biz

Saturday's first POd was the New Mexico Bowl...won by Drum roll Please....New Mexico 23-0. Just a terrible performance by Nevada...but then Nebraska beat the snot out of them. Coming closest to the score  was Maximum Carnage. More free points in your stocking sir!

The second contest was the Las Vegas Bowl, BYU and UCLA. A more enteraining game won with a blocked field goal with no time was BYU at 17-16. With the closest guess, and they were all over creation was Cubasaurus.  See above for your bonus!

Saturdays Vegas Bowl also brings to a close the First of my College Contests. Total points scored in the 5 selected Bowls was 245. Coming closest to this with a total of 258 was wiseguy dream1er for 10k in free points. The second contest will be put out Monday, and it will have a different concept.

Sunday as usual I have 2 games for you junkies. First is in the NFL with the Eagles and the Saints. Second will be the Hawaii Bowl featuring East Carolina and Boise ST. Pick well.

Tuesday pod and a little rant on the hosts part..

Ok Wiseguys I know that sports are a release for the most of us...but lets get real... Kids playing sports SHOULD NOT HAVE AN ISSUE THAT THEY NEED TO GET GUNNED DOWN!!! I am sorry but this just isnt worth it, be you black,white, asian or whatever. The world we live in has gotten too confusing for an old man like myself and the BS needs to stop!

Please observe a moment of silence tomorrow for the Memphis player that was needlessly gunned down. Send yout thoughts to Taylor Bradfords connections. While it happens everywhere it is a senseless way to end an arguement. What ever happened to a simple fist-fight?

Mondays POD was NFL with the NE Pats overcoming the Cincy Bengals. Many close scores were submitted but the nearest one was fellow wiseguy  bstrds with his guess of 34-21 Pats.

Running a close second was both rose01 and donamg with a 34-24 score. Always another day!

Tuesdays POD will be the only game on the board in NCAAF. Marshall Thundering Herd taking on the Memphis Tigers.
